The spatial layout of the museum includes two floors, the ground floor and the ground floor. The top floor is planned to be used as an official celebration and exhibition area. In our museum, the historical process from the first traces of settlement dating back 8 thousand years to the Ottoman Empire and the Republican Period and today’s Yalova are explained with information, documents and photographs, and topics such as local administration, sister cities, population, education, sports, industry, agriculture, geographical structure, districts, tourism and social life are included. A model of the city, a walking mansion (yuruyen kosk) and a model of a mosque were placed in the area, and the subjects related to floriculture, weaving and spa (thermal) culture in the city were animated with decors.
The museum is closed on Mondays.
